Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash today chairs a meeting here at Dak Banglow to finalize the arrangements put in place for the smooth conduct of forthcoming Services Selection Board(SSB) examinations scheduled from 21st April for different categories of posts.
Meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla Farooq Ahmad Baba, SP Baramulla Shafqat Hussain, Assisstant Comissioner Revenue Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Chief Education Officer, representatives of JKSSB, Exam Observers,District heads of different departments and educational institutions where the examination centres has been fixed and various other concerned.
It was informed that a total of 11355 candidates are appearing for different posts in about 31 centres across the district.
Threadbare discussion was held with regarding to the posting of staff, examination observers, seating and accommodation arrangements and other necessary facilities. However flying squads were also constituted for the smooth conduct of the said examination. Moreover, all the candidates appearing in the said examinations were asked not to bring mobile phones with them which are strictly prohibited even in the centre premises.
The DC reiterates upon the concerned to ensure the smooth conduct of examination besides directing the officers to deploy sufficient staff at the centres and for the transportation of examination material. Moreover it was also said that section 144 CrPC shall also remain in effect around exam centres.
