Indian police ruthlessly beat up and injured Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and arrested him along with a dozen activists during protest demonstrations on Human Rights Day at Kathipora in Islamabad town-
JKPL vice chairman, Syed Aijaz Rehmani in a statement while denouncing use of brute force and inhuman act on Hurriyet leader and people in Kashmir has urged world human rights bodies to save Kashmir from Indian occupation and military might polies.
He said that it was India which took the Kashmir dispute to the UN and promised before the World Body that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would be given the right to self-determination. He assured the Kashmiri people that one day they would achieve freedom from Indian bondage.
The statement said it is the responsibility of the world community to play its role in restoration of normalcy by building pressure on India to accept ground realities in Kashmir.
